My name is Reynauda Ardie. I have been counseling for the Calcasieu Parish School Board since 2015. I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, and a Bachelors Degree in Family and Child Studies. I have worked with families and children for many years. My background consists of foster care work through the State of Louisiana, being an elementary school teacher, and being a mental health professional throughout the community.

As the school counselor, I am responsible for many things such as; SPED referrals, group and individual counseling, character development, advocating for our students and families, facilitating individual educational plans, and coordinating information for state testing.

I can be reached by phone at (337)217-4490 ext. 5236 or by email at reynauda.ardie@cpsb.org.  If you have any questions or concerns that you would like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to give me a call!   My motto is “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” I believe that building relationships with others is very important and can set the path for an amazing future!

My philosophy of counseling pertains to building relationships with students, being a supporter of effective learning, and collaborating with parents and other professionals to achieve our school's goal. I believe all people, no matter their cultural background, should be treated fairly and equally. In order to successfully achieve equality, we should always treat others how we would like to be treated....
